The Mancozeb Task Force members each have decades of experience in the manufacture and use of EBDC fungicides and have developed extensive scientific data that demonstrate the EBDCs can be used without unacceptable risks to consumers. We will continue to cooperate with the regulatory and scientific investigations of these valuable products to ensure that they remain available to the agricultural community. The key working principles of the Task Force were established during the 1987-1992 Special Review and have also applied to the FQPA assessment. Specifically:
- To work cooperatively with EPA and other regulatory agencies.
- To develop the best scientific data to define the exposure and risks of EBDCs.
- To work closely with the grower community and key stakeholders.
