Sharing the Science of Crop Protection. The Mancozeb Task Force comprises crop protection chemical manufacturers dedicated to protecting the earth’s food supply from the damages inflicted by insect, weed and disease pests. EBDCs are important tools in this quest, controlling 400 diseases known to affect various crops worldwide.
Established in 1994, the Task Force is committed to providing scientific information to regulators, product users, and interested individuals to address regulatory actions related to the EBDCs.
During the previous EPA review which ended in 1992, the EBDC registrants actively participated in the process by providing requested information to EPA and to stakeholders as part of the public record. During the current review, the Task Force has the goal of continuing to share information in a proactive manner with interested stakeholders.
